WOUND CLOSURE STRIPS

When to use wound closure strips?

The strips are used to close small, shallow wounds by bringing the wound edges together and sealing them with the strips.

Do not use:

• On a dirty wound
• On a bite wound
• On large and deep wounds
• On mobile body parts

How do you apply suture strips?

Dry and disinfect the wound, making sure the edges are clean. If there is still blood, press on the wound until the bleeding stops. Carefully remove the suture strip from the packaging and place it across the wound. If necessary, you can cover the wound with a wound dressing.
